For the past 10 years, artists have been celebrating Record Store Day, an annual celebration of music distributed as physical media. On April 22nd, music lovers can join in on the fun: local stores will open their doors to fans awaiting exclusive vinyl releases from their favorite artists. The release parties will include free goodie bags, live performances, cookouts, giveaways, and limited edition/special releases from over 200 different artists.

Vinyl Street Cafe in Fairfield, CT will be hosting its own celebration. The festivities will begin at 8 a.m. and there will be prizes for the first twenty customers at the door! See a preview of what vinyls their store, and stores nationwide, will be releasing exclusively for the big day:

Little Mess EP – Grouplove
Tracks that were cut from Grouplove’s latest album are on this transparent green and white vinyl, which comes with a digital download.

Stinson Beach Sessions – The Head and the Heart
Unreleased demos and never before released tracks from The Head and the Heart’s Signs of Light are available on these vinyl EPs before they are available digitally.

Live At The Matrix ‘67 – The Doors
Live At The Matrix was recorded in 1967 and was remastered for release in 2008. The exclusive vinyl cuts will only have 10,000 copies released worldwide.

Alternate Mirage – Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac’s 2016 album Mirage will be reinvented and pressed onto vinyls limited to 3500 copies nationwide.

Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World
Only 2700 copies of this purple vinyl from hip-hop artist Lil Uzi Vert, which is also his fourth mixtape, will be available and sold exclusively through independent retailers.

Wild Season (feat. Florence Welch) – Banks & Steelz
Wu Tang Clan’s ZA, Interpol’s Paul Banks, and Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine come together on one epic vinyl.

Song Seeds – The Lumineers
The Lumineers bring fans into their creative process on this 10” with three versions of “Angela” and “Long Way From Home” from their album Cleopatra: the demo, album track, and live versions.
